Multiple Levels of Leadership : Exploring the Educational Pipeline

The Four Spheres of Leadership and Complementary Learning Framework (pictured below) lays out our different leadership spaces, and was used to stimulate initial thinking around our leadership practice across our four positions (teacher, school administrator, program director and dean). Our understanding of value-based leadership extends beyond being effective and efficient in navigating through one’s own life and institution, and also includes serving society (with the goal towards social transformation). Through ELADIN, we sought to understand how the personal, relational and collective leadership elements converged to help us propose a set of leadership norms and values that could serve as a framework to guide us across these multiple spaces.
